About this workshop

Drowning in PDFs, lecture recordings and web articles? Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) is Google's free AI research assistant that reads only the sources you give it and backs every answer with a citation. In this hands-on, self-paced workshop you'll master it from zero, using only the free plan. Across 6 modules, you'll build a real notebook step by step: add every type of source, ask questions that get precise answers, and check citations so you never repeat an AI mistake. You'll turn your material into podcast-style Audio Overviews and narrated videos. You'll also generate study guides, mind maps, flashcards, quizzes, infographics, slide decks and data tables, and export them to Docs, Sheets, PowerPoint and PDF. No AI experience needed, just a Google account. Content is current as of October 2026.
